HIARCS UCI is a chess engine and is available by software download only. HIARCS UCI requires a PC running MS Windows 95, 98, ME, NT4, 2000, XP or Vista with a UCI compatible GUI (a GUI is not included in the package). We recommend the excellent free Arena GUI which supports UCI chess engines like HIARCS UCI. Alternatively other quality GUIs supporting UCI chess engines can be separately purchased e.g. Fritz, Chessbase, Chess Assistant, Shredder, Chess Partner etc
