HIARCS Palm Chess Pro 12.1. This is the major upgrade over Palm HIARCS 9.7 and has the following major enhancements:

Please be aware if you install HIARCS Palm Chess Pro 12.1 and later wish to return to the original Palm Hiarcs 9 series you should first delete the HIARCS Palm Chess Pro 12.1 version from your device before re-installing Palm Hiarcs 9. You can find the older Palm pages here.

HIARCS Palm Chess Pro v12.1q

Contains the latest HIARCS Palm Chess Pro product (version 12.1q) for ARM and 68K PalmOS based devices. Also included is a small size openings book, ECO opening names and 4 games databases: Alekhine-CapablancaDB, Fischer-SpasskyDB, Kasparov-KarpovDB and Anand-KasparovDB. For even stronger performance we recommend the addition of the free Large openings book or free Massive openings book on this page. Please note the HIARCS menu is accessed using the Palm menu icon or key (depending on device).

Medium Opening Book

Contains a very large openings book for even stronger play with the Palm Hiarcs product. It is recommended that strong players update the standard book in order to get wider and deeper opening variations. This book has been expanded by thousands of moves and improved. Offers 131,291 positions and 52120 variations. This book is FREE to registered customers and is a superset of the small book delivered in the standard download.
